Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of byplatonic.com (the “Site”) and the purchase of Platonic-branded fragrance products (the “Products”). The Site is operated by UNIFRAG (“we”, “us”, “our”), with registered office at B-16, Lilamani Trade Center, Near Delhi Darwaja, Ahmedabad, 380004, Gujarat, India. GST Number: 24ACKPW9623R1ZJ.

By accessing the Site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on the Site. By using the Site, you confirm you meet this requirement.

All Products are described and priced in Indian Rupees (₹), inclusive of all applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change Product details, pricing, or availability without prior notice. While we make every effort to ensure descriptions and images are accurate, slight variations in colour, packaging, or composition may occur.

Products are subject to availability. If a Product is out of stock after your order is placed, we will notify you and arrange a refund or substitution.

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, at our discretion. Acceptance is confirmed when we dispatch the order; a tracking link is sent by email and SMS and appears in your account.

Accepted payment methods include UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets, and Cash on Delivery (where available). All payments are processed via PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card or banking details on our servers.

You may create an account on the Site to track orders, view order history, save addresses, and manage communication preferences. Sign-in is via a one-time verification code sent to your email. We don’t use or store passwords. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and notifying us of any unauthorised access.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to care@byplatonic.com, subject to the retention requirements set out in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We will never ask for OTPs, passwords, or bank details outside the Site or our official channels (care@byplatonic.com and WhatsApp). If you receive suspicious communication claiming to be from Platonic, don’t respond. Write to care@byplatonic.com to verify, or report it to the Indian Cyber Crime portal at cybercrime.gov.in.

Shipping, returns, and refunds are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

All content on the Site, including the Platonic name, logo, fragrance names, product photography, packaging, copy, design system, and code, is the exclusive property of UNIFRAG and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You agree not to use the Site to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; (c) transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or other users’ accounts; or (e) interfere with the normal operation of the Site.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to anyone who violates these Terms.

The Site links to third-party services for payments, shipping tracking, WhatsApp, and email. We aren’t responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these services. Your use of any third-party service is at your own discretion and subject to that service’s own terms.

The Site and Products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While Platonic fragrances are IFRA-compliant and free of phthalates and parabens, fragrance is a personal product and individual sensitivities can vary. If you experience any skin reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site or Products beyond what is required by applicable Indian consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to your use of the Site or purchase of any Product shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold UNIFRAG, its officers, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, costs, or liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Either party may end this agreement at any time. You can delete your account by writing to care@byplatonic.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any reason permitted by law.

On termination, your right to use the Site ends immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the Site. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These Terms, together with our Shipping & Returns policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UNIFRAG regarding the Site and the Products.
